WHAT’S IN OUR SOUL?

Our soul is not us in itself….our body is not us…it’s our house. We are a SPIRIT; the soul is comprised of our database (gathered through our 5 senses from birth until now), our emotions reacts or responses off what is in our database, and our will (choices we make based on what is in our database and emotions.

Therefore, it matters what one thinks. Proverbs 23:7

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”.

Words are spoken thoughts…what’s in your database? What are you speaking?

The world systems influence us every day through our database by a continuous influx of images and sounds by putting messages in front our eyes, more in our hearing, and the other senses. If one hears a song and don’t like it the first time you hear it; the more, you hear it over and over again we begin to receive it and accept it and begin to tap our feet or dance to it. The enemy knows how this works so he will use this process of learning established by God against us.

Therein is one of the problems, many sit and watch images, and listen to sounds over and over again not understanding it will occupy a spot in our database; good, bad, or ugly. If one hears derogatory remarks, degrading and humiliating words over and over it goes into our database (soul) and begins to affect our emotions and decisions. Especially, if it starts in our childhood, it becomes a root and is used as a measuring tool of nouns that one encounters throughout life.

We sometimes see our children go into a trance while watching their tablet, our youth in one playing video games, and adults entangled in certain internet/tv programs or series and all imitating what they have seen. So much so they get irate when interruptions occurred.

Here is the thing though, what is going in becomes a part of our database, and may change our behavior, what we say, what we feel, what we wear, and our concern of what others may think about or choices looking for their approval. Oh, Oh!

So, we may begin comparing to what we put into our database with our real life, changing our speech to fit into the mold that was created from outside influences, even changing our appearances to fit into what was planted.

Bottom line:

WE ARE A SPIRIT (made in the image of God), that has a SOUL (mind, emotions, and will) and are in a BODY. Two against one wins…so We as a born-again SPIRIT (those who have ask Jesus Christ into their heart) and our SOUL renewed by the Word of God rules. If one does not like what they see, hear, speak, and act they must change what they put in the database. Is it easy? NO…but with the help of God through Jesus Christ by the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit; it can be done.

But one has to want to change for no one can do it for you. Everything we deal with, how we behave react, or repond is not from the devil; it is us reacting/responding from things that are in our database, no matter how it got there. Many are in bondage voluntary (not born-again or have ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit) while other are involuntary (spiritual attacks) …but God sent his son, Jesus Christ to set us (Every human being) free.

It’s a choice…BE SET FREE. receive Jesus who came to destroy the works of the devil and HE DID IT FOR YOU AND ME. Our assignment is to receive him and what he has done and maintain our freedom.

BE Free from someone else’s opinion–.I am who GOD says I AM. One has to find out what HE has said by hearing and speaking, believing and receiving THE WORD OF GOD…RENEWING THE MIND..CHANGES THE EMOTIONS AND CHOICES.

BE Free from trauma (mentally verbally, and physically)–forgive with the help of God because you have been forgiven and allow God to erase the pain, reoccurring negative images and voices, and the hurts and disappointments (which may be unrealistic goals developed by what one puts in the database (soul)–HE mends the broken hearts.

Luke 4:17-21

¹⁷ And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

¹⁹ To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

²⁰ And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of

all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

²¹ And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Many are looking for shortcuts, the devil has lied and is lying…there is none…it really gets down to a choice. WHO are listening to and what will we choose to do with we have heard? Others accept defeat and daily drown their thoughts, emotions, and bad choices through their favorite choice of poisons (liquids, smoke, substances, food, negative speech and behaviors) to both their soul and body which leads to destruction.

That is exactly what the enemy wants every human to do…destroy themselves before hearing and receiving Jesus Christ as their savior. Many are walking daily as high functioning addicts or in depression or worse influenced by the very substance they are taking to relieve which is a trick of the enemy but actually destroying. So many are trying to give the appearance by masking with a smile or joke pretending everything is all right but dying on the inside because of their choices or the attacks of the enemy against the soul because of open doors and can’t get out of prison in their soul.

STOP… MAKE A CHANGE BY MAKING A CHOICE TO RECEIVE WHO WAS SENT BY GOD TO SET YOU FREE. RECEIVE JESUS (THE LIBERATOR, OUR DELIVERER) AND ALLOW THE WORD OF GOD, THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CHANGE YOU.

YOU ALONE ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR CHOICES, BEHAVIOR, THOUGHTS, AND WORDS…BUT YOU CAN HAVE HELP FROM THE ONE THAT KNOWS YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH. CHOOSE JESUS TODAY AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND ALLOW HIM TO LEAD YOU BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT INTO YOUR DESTINY.

In this hour one must discover and know who they are and why they were born by Receiving the one who was sent to set us free and renewing their SOUL. Be HEALED AND SET FREE IN JESUS NAME.
