When we read the scriptures in Hebrews 11, we discover the principle and significance of believing, speaking, and obeying the Word of God wrapped with Faith to bring forth the manifestations expected.
Hebrews 11
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
FAITH IS RIGHT NOW…
WHEN? RIGHT NOW! NOT THE BY AND BY, OR WHEN I GET THIS OR when someone SPEAKS OR TOUCHES ME. IT IS RIGHT NOW? One must already believe and have expectation to receive what is being given. Much like the woman with the issue of blood, when she heard where Jesus was, she said to herself, “If I can only touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed”. She did and Jesus said your FAITH HAS MADE YOU WHOLE. She pressed her way into the crowd and received what she expected.
WHY? Verse 11…Sara conceived and delivered when she was past age, BECAUSE SHE JUDGED HIM FAITHFUL WHO HAD PROMISED.
WHO PROMISED? JESUS PROMISED AND HE IS TRUTHFUL TO THE WORD (He followed the instructions of the Father in obedience. FOR HE IS THE LIVING WORD. HE SPOKE HIS FATHER’S WORD knowing that WHAT HE SPOKE WOULD MANIFEST. HE SPENT PERSONAL ONE ON ONE TIME WITH THE FATHER AND DID ONLY WHAT HE HAD SEEN HIS FATHER DO…AND THE HOLY SPIRIT MANIFESTED THEM.
THE same HOLY SPIRIT THAT WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNING (IN GENESIS 1) HOOVERS OVER THE WORD SPOKEN AND ACTIVATES OR MANIFEST WHAT IS BEING SPOKEN.
Much like Mary who spoke “BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING THY WORD”” and she conceived. Another interesting point in that story with Mary is that the Holy Spirit sent her to Elizabeth’s house and the baby (John the Baptist) leaped and was filled in her belly.
Which is why, it is important to guard one’s words and speak only what lines up with the Word of God wrapped your faith to receive what you are expecting…IN THIS CASE YOUR HEALING. WE SPEAK THE SCRIPTURES ABOUT HEALING WRAPPED WITH OUR FAITH EXPECTING IT TO MANIFEST IN THE NATURAL. BUT GUESS WHAT, WE TRUE BELIEVERS’S ALREADY HAVE IT. WE JUST HAVE TO RECEIVE IT BY SPEAKING AND RESISTING THE ROADBLOCKS AND HINDRANCES. FOR THE ENEMY DOES NOT WANT US SAVED, HEALED, DELIVERED, OR WHOLE.
JESUS, himself borne our sins, sickness, diseases, pain, and grief through the beatings on the way to the Cross. HIS BLOOD not only redeem us but translated us into the Kingdom of God. Believing, receiving, and accepting what HE HAS ALREADY DONE through FAITH not works as made us a new creation. One that is saved (from the wrath of God…saved by grace), healed by his stripes, and delivered from the works of the enemy by the renewing of our minds.
By FAITH, AFTER WE HEAR WHAT GOD HAS SPOKEN AND JESUS HAS DONE, WE TOO ARE TO TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD, SPEAK WHAT HE SPOKE, AND EXPECT THE MANIFESTION, IN THIS CASE HEALING, ACTIVATED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
SO PUTTING THIS IN ACTION let’s take some stones like David against the giant:
Isaiah 53: 1-12
53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
SO WE BELIEVE THE REPORT OF THE LORD….which simple means we put the Word of God and the Holy Spirit in a position higher than what is be spoken on the earth. Why?
GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE….GOD IS A SPIRIT AND IF ONE IS BORN AGAIN WE ARE SPIRIT.
WHY? JESUS OUR SAVIOR, HEALER, AND DELIVERER HAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF IT ALL AND DECLARED ON THE CROSS “IT IS FINISHED”…what is finished?
1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
What are the works of devil?
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
So anything that does NOT LINE UP WITH THE WORD OF GOD…BUT ONE HAS TO KNOW WHAT IS THE WORD in order know what does not line up, correct?
When diving into the Word head first, swim through the pages of how God sent his own begotten son, one will find that HE himself subjected his self (Emmanuel with us) walked this planet in the flesh (John 1). Read, study asking the Holy Spirit to reveal along the way how to apply THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER. FOR HIS WORD IS THE TRUTH AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS A LIE.
The devil is the Father of lies…he can’t tell the truth, he twists, perverts, send deception and illusions to hinder, block, snare or set traps TO KEEP US FOR BELIEVING AND RECEIVING THE TRUTH. FOR ONCE WE RECEIVE AND APPLY THE TRUTH WE ARE SET FREE FROM WORKS OF THE ENEMY. JESUS IS HIS PRAYER IN JOHN 17: 17
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” GOD WORD IS THE TRUTH WE PUT HIS TRUTH HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER WORDS.
GUESS WHAT? THIS IS NOT EVEN THE END OF THE STORY…SEEK AND FIND…ONE MUST GET IN THE WORD OF GOD AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH AND GUIDE TO GAIN UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT, AND KNOWLEDGE.
