THE INCORRUPTIBLE SEED AND GOOD SOIL

HEALING LESSON: August 8. 2023 annamadams.com

The Word of God is an incorruptible seed THAT CAN NEVER BE DESTROYED. For God so loved the world he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him shall have everlasting Life (John 3:16).

The written word (Logos) introduces us to the Living Word and we must eat it like we eat food in natural daily; which means that we must be in The Word daily. For it is our roadmap and guide that has all the ammunition, equipment, and resources one will ever need.

THE INCORRUPTIBLE SEED

In the Parable of Sower, we find out about the different SOILS but the SEED remains the same.

Matthew 13:1-23

The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Sower, Seed, and Soil

1 Peter 1:23-25 (KJV)

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Seeds in the garden excerpt  (used by permission annamadams.com)

When one plants a garden, the soil has to be prepared, seeds must be placed in as well as watered and some need full sunlight while others need little. We discover there is certain seasons that plants and fruits should be placed in the ground and experienced gardeners know how to tend and ward off insects that many eat up the seedlings or hinder its growth. To even get deeper it’s the soil, planter pots, watering and sunshine that assists in getting the full harvest.

Let’s just line up this God-given process up with his Word.

The Word of God is an incorruptible seed and when:

– it is placed in the right soil (purified heart) of a person,

– watered properly (hearing and applying the Word),

-placed in the correct about of sun for that particular plant,

-and tended to, guarded and kept it will produce the harvest expected.

When one plants the Word, water the Word, and apply and execute by speaking the Word; one can have a fruitful garden and harvest. Enough to share with others that don’t have seeds, nor know how to cultivate a garden. The incorruptible seed is forever and can change an unfruitful situation planted in the right soil.

TILL THE GROUND

For example, sometimes the land has to be tilled…uproot and remove some things….and things have to be burned by fire Observing land be prepared for gardening or cleared for construction …many times bulldozers uproot trees and stumps, pile them up in a certain spot and burned.

Jeremiah 1:5-10 and verse

Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.

Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Verse 12

.12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Sound familiar:

Isiah 55:8-11 (KJV)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalms  107:20

20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

John 10:10

Enemy method of operations is to:

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Just like Jesus in Matthew 4:4-11, so  we must do the same use the Word : (once again read the whole chapter

.But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

1 Timothy 6:12

  1. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

He trying to steal our faith …NOT SO IN JESUS

JESUS

1 John 3:8 (KJV)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

ON THE CROSS … in John 19  It is finished…

28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Amen and amen…SO ONE MUST …Study the Word, meditate on the Word, Apply the Word by believing, receiving and speaking  and expect the WORDS TO MANIFEST IN OUR LIVES.WHY YOU MAY SAY?

BECAUSE GOD CAN NOT LIE….THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUTH…JESUS IS THE INCORRUPTIBLE SEED, AND IT IS FINISHED. Amen and Amen.
